Downie Express begins at the world's northernmost passenger rail station, deep within the Arctic Circle. From there, Mike and Jeff board the once-a-day southbound train, kicking off an epic trek toward Africa, however, they have one rule for this trip: they cannot leave a country until they've eaten the national dish.

Downie Express takes an unexpected turn when Mike and Jeff encounter a series of train cancellations, delays and curveballs. The guys decide to make the most of the situation by visiting the world’s largest miniature railway and then come up with a new strategy to circumvent the railway chaos.

Mike and Jeff eat waffles in Belgium and find themselves in a classic film in Paris, but Jeff has a big surprise up his sleeve.

Mike and Jeff board a train to the southernmost station in Europe, chasing the last stretch of rails toward Africa.
