Emanuele Mancuso has decided to give his testimony in court and his revelations are questioned by the defense in a heated cross-examination. Among the public Vincenzo Chindamo is listening, hoping to hear the answer to his question: what happened to his sister Maria, who disappeared in 2016?

PARTE IV: IL VERDETTO
Gratteri is more in danger than ever: new intercepts from foreign secret services reveal plans to kill him. The Maxi-Trial is coming to an end, and he is determined to get a heavy sentence for Giancarlo Pittelli, its star defendant, former senator and lawyer. When the final verdicts come, Gratteri is assigned to his next role: chief prosecutor in the crime-ridden city of Napoli.
