Matthew finds clarity on the true events surrounding the murder at Crow Point and has a chance to solve the case with the killer in his sights, but he must be careful knowing someone else is in danger.

The prospect of rebuilding a relationship with his mother blurs Matthew's ability to objectively examine the Brethren community, and he wrestles professional and personal issues to solve the case before anyone else gets hurt. Lucy and Gaby can no longer stay quiet as an important silence breaks and the extent of the lies suffocating the communities continues to widen.
