An unseen intruder breaks into the Drew home, stealing documents that will allow Nancy's aunts, Ruby and Lela, to sell their farm. While Nancy's father goes to the State Capitol to replace the papers, Nancy heads to the Farmhouse where she is plunged into a series of strange events that lead her deeper and deeper into danger.

Later the sheriff tells Nancy that his men could not find any signs of an accident, and that the road has been closed for a long time. Nancy attempts to unravel the bizarre occurrence on her own, and soon finds herself in the midst of danger.
