Agastya, a math prodigy, prevents a fellow student from jumping off a building using maths. He shares a bittersweet dinner with his mother, Vinita, marking his father's abandonment. As Vinita explores dating, Agastya navigates his own breakup. A bookstore encounter with a woman, where his math skills fail him, leaves him baffled. The next day, a new math professor inspires an idea to help Vinita.

Agastya refines Vinita's dating profile with verified data, finally leading to successful dates for her. Ira allows him to attend her class. Vinita's real estate deal collapses due to Abhimanyu. Annie ends up in hospital due to the pills, leading to a fight with Agastya. Agastya shares his algorithm with Ira. Vinita encounters Abhimanyu again, who apologizes to her.

Off Track
Vinita and Abhimanyu connect, but Agastya forbids her to date him, fearing it will disrupt his algorithm. At Ira's party, Agastya meets Heartset's founder and discovers that Ira worked on that algorithm. Ira suggests that she and Agastya create a new algorithm. Annie confesses her feelings for Agastya. Agastya discovers that Vinita is still seeing Abhimanyu.

The Tipping Point
Agastya confronts Vinita. As he remembers his father's abandonment, he suffers a panic attack at college and is helped by Annie. Ira challenges his bias against Abhimanyu. Agastya asks Spidey to hack Abhimanyu's social media. At a concert, Agastya and Ira both feel unwell from a spiked drink.
